The universal joint coupling adopts a double joint flexible design, and its core components include:
Cross shaft assembly: It is made of 42CrMoA alloy steel and forged as a whole. After carburizing and quenching treatment, the hardness reaches HRC58-62, and the core maintains HB280-320 toughness. The cross axis design ensures that the coupling can maintain a tooth contact rate of over 85% even at an angular displacement of 1.5 °.
Bearing system: High end models are equipped with sealed needle roller bearings, with a friction coefficient as low as 0.003 and a transmission efficiency of up to 98.5%. Using a special formula of long-lasting lubricating grease, the maintenance cycle can reach up to 10000 hours.
Connecting flange: made of 45 # steel material, with a hardness of HB220-250 after quenching and tempering heat treatment. Weld 8.8 grade high-strength nuts at the flange bolt holes to form reliable force transmission nodes.
The torque transmission mechanism manifests as a dual path:
Mechanical meshing transmission: Approximately 70% of the rated torque is transmitted through the meshing of the cross shaft and fork head
Friction assisted transmission: 30% of the torque is transmitted by the frictional force on the flange end face, and pre tightening force is applied using 12.9 grade high-strength bolts
