The WGC drum gear coupling is a mechanical component designed specifically for vertical transmission applications. The WGC drum shaped gear coupling is mainly composed of internal gear rings and flange half couplings with external teeth. The external teeth are designed in a drum shape, with a spherical tooth tip. This design helps improve the contact conditions of teeth, enhance the ability to transmit torque, and extend the service life. At the same time, drum shaped teeth can also allow for larger angular displacement, compensating for angular errors, axial and radial installation errors caused by the misalignment of the two connecting shafts.
