Pin And Bushing Couplings

Pin and bushing coupling (elastic sleeve column pin coupling) is a flexible coupling that achieves power transmission through the combination of elastic sleeve and column pin. Its typical structure includes:

1. Metal wheel hub: usually made of cast iron or cast steel material, connected to the driving/driven shaft at both ends through keyway or taper hole.
   

2. Elastic sleeve component: A sleeve made of rubber or polyurethane material is nested on the column pin, absorbing vibration through compression deformation and compensating for axial/radial deviation.
   

3. Column pin system: Column pins made of alloy steel or stainless steel penetrate the elastic sleeve and wheel hub, allowing for slight elastic deformation when transmitting torque.

Working mechanism: When the active shaft rotates, the torque is compressed by the column pin to produce deformation of the elastic sleeve, thereby buffering the impact load and compensating for installation deviation.
