The short universal shaft coupling is a compact variant of the cross axis universal shaft coupling, designed specifically for space constrained scenarios. Its core consists of the following components:
Cross shaft assembly: Made of alloy steel forging, treated with carburizing and quenching (hardness HRC58-62), the bearing seat integrates needle roller bearings, allowing for ± 45 ° angular deflection
Flange fork: integral forging structure, SWC type standard flange hole spacing tolerance controlled at H7 level, axial reduction of 30% compared to conventional models
Expansion sleeve (optional): The internal spline design allows for axial compensation of ± 15mm
Torque transmission is achieved through the articulated motion of the cross shaft. When the input shaft rotates, the cross shaft decomposes the motion into two orthogonal planes of oscillation. The output shaft can maintain speed synchronization even in the presence of angular deviation, and the instantaneous transmission efficiency can reach 98.5%.
