The plum blossom flexible coupling with brake disc is a composite transmission component that integrates braking function based on the standard plum blossom coupling.
It consists of the following core components:
Metal claw plate: usually made of 45 steel or aluminum alloy material, with a double flange structure design and surface heat treatment to enhance wear resistance.
Polyurethane elastomer: a high elasticity element in the shape of a plum blossom, with optional hardness, capable of torque transmission and displacement compensation.
Brake disc component: Integrated on the flange end face on one side of the coupling, made of 45 # steel or 42CrMo, with precision grinding to ensure that the flatness of the brake surface is ≤ 0.02mm.
Connection system: Using twisted hole bolts and anti loosening washers to achieve seamless transmission.
Working mechanism: By transmitting torque through elastic deformation under compression, compensating for axial (± 1.5mm), radial (± 0.5mm), and angular deviations (± 1 °). When braking, the external brake caliper clamps the brake disc to generate frictional braking torque, achieving rapid stopping.
