The LZ elastic pin coupling mainly consists of two half couplings, an outer ring, and an elastic pin. The outer edge of the flange of the two half couplings and the inner edge of the outer sleeve are made into semi-circular grooves with the same radius, forming column pin holes, and elastic column pins are placed in these holes. The driving shaft half coupling drives the outer sleeve through the column pin, and the outer sleeve then drives the driven shaft half coupling to rotate through the column pin, thereby transmitting torque.
Main advantage
High transmission torque: At the same torque, the rotation diameter of LZ type elastic pin toothed coupling is usually smaller than that of toothed coupling, so it has a small volume and light weight, and can partially replace toothed coupling.
Simple structure: Compared with gear couplings, LZ type elastic column pin gear couplings have a simple structure, fewer components, and are easier to manufacture without the need for gear machining machines.
Easy maintenance: During maintenance, simply remove the baffle to replace the nylon column pin, making it easy to operate.
Self lubrication: Nylon column pins are made of self-lubricating material and do not require lubrication, which not only saves lubricating oil but also purifies the working environment.
Compensation offset: It has a certain performance of compensating for the relative offset of two axes, suitable for medium and high power transmission.
The LZ elastic pin coupling is suitable for coaxial transmission shaft systems, especially for medium and high power transmission applications with low vibration reduction requirements. However, due to its relatively poor damping kinetic energy and high noise, it is not suitable for work areas that have strict requirements for damping or require strict noise control.
The LZ elastic pin tooth coupling is usually made of 45 # steel material and CNC milled with column pin holes to ensure accuracy and interchangeability. The material of the nylon rod is strong nylon 6, strictly made according to the national standard size.
When selecting, the appropriate type should be determined based on the working conditions, and then the specific size of the coupling should be selected based on the torque and speed of the shaft. During installation, pay attention to ensuring that the aperture range of the selected coupling matches the diameter of the shaft, and ensure that the specified allowable torque is greater than or equal to the working torque.
