The plum coupling consists of two metal claw plates (usually 45 steel or aluminum alloy) and an elastic body (polyurethane or rubber). The core principle is to transmit torque through the compression deformation of elastic elements, while compensating for axial, radial, and angular deviations (within ± 1.5mm and ± 5 °). The elastomer adopts a plum blossom petal design (commonly 4/6/8/10 petals), achieving seamless transmission under compression, with a maximum speed of up to 30000 r/min.
