Plum Blossom Couplings

The plum blossom coupling consists of two metal claw plates and an elastic body in the middle. Claw discs are usually made of 45 steel or aluminum alloy material, and are processed and formed through processes such as turning and milling; Most elastomers are made of polyurethane or rubber materials, with different branching structures such as four, six, or eight petals. Its working principle is to transmit torque through elastic deformation under compression, while compensating for axial, radial, and angular deviations, achieving vibration damping and buffering functions.

Dynamic compensation capability
Compensatable for axial deviation (± 1.5mm), radial deviation (± 0.5mm), and angular deviation (± 2 °), suitable for situations with installation errors.
The low stiffness design of the elastomer (with a nominal torque angle of up to 10 °) effectively reduces the risk of shaft resonance.

No back gap design
