Jaw Flexible Couplings

The jaw flexible coupling consists of two metal claw plates (usually made of 45 steel or aluminum alloy) and a polyurethane elastic element in the middle. Realize torque transmission through compression deformation of elastic bodies and compensate for axial, radial, and angular displacements. Its name comes from the elastic body design in the shape of a plum blossom, which forms a flexible connection when the convex claw engages with the groove, and has both cushioning and vibration reduction functions.

   It can automatically compensate for axial displacement (± 1~5mm), radial displacement (0.5~3mm), and angular deviation (± 1 °~3 °), reducing installation alignment requirements.

   Elastic body absorbs vibration and impact, reducing transmission system noise; Polyurethane materials provide electrical insulation properties.
   

3. Maintenance free design
   No lubrication required, the elastomer is wear-resistant and oil resistant, with a long service life (usually over 10 years), suitable for continuous operation.
   

4. Lightweight and high-speed adaptability
   The aluminum alloy claw disc version has a small moment of inertia and a permissible speed of 15300r/min, making it suitable for medium to high speed transmission.
