The high-speed gear coupling used in steam turbines is a critical mechanical transmission component that serves as a connection between the turbine and the generator or other equipment. Its main function is to transmit torque and compensate for installation deviations.
High speed tooth couplings are usually composed of internal gear rings with the same number of teeth and flange half couplings with external teeth.
